A Week (or Two) in Review

This will be a blog of pictures more than anything... since it was Kaely's last week of school- and just started summer a few days ago- we've accumulated a ton of photos. Plus, Chase has been in full gear on getting into trouble everywhere we turn. He has decided to start taking steps though, so very excited about that! Becoming very adept at walking while holding onto just a finger of mine, and taking leaps/runs from the couch or tv stand towards me. The best is his expression when he does it- he's so excited!

We started watching our favorite summertime tv show- Master Chef this week, and I let Kaely stay up to watch it. Since they featured a cheesecake on it, we had to make it the next day. She did such a great job- and man was it yummy!!!

We also (finally) tackled our floor project in the living room- tearing out the lovely carpet that has been destroyed over the past few years (as shown by Chase below)... and installing wood laminate flooring. Chase wanted to help as much as possible. Definitely adorable until he wanted to stay with Daddy outside while sawing the planks. Lots of things going on this week- but always something to entertain us!
